We visited La Gelati in West Dearborn and had a truly fantastic experience. The ice cream itself was incredibly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the different kinds we ordered. What made this visit unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service we received regarding food safety. One of the workers went completely above and beyond for my family. She took the time to help us find a non-allergic soft serve ice cream option for my son, and then actually went all the way into the back to bring out fresh, uncontaminated sprinkles to ensure his treat was entirely safe. It is rare to find a place that takes food allergies this seriously, and it gave us total peace of mind. The only minor downside is that the shop was quite busy, and with only three workers on shift, it took a little while to get served. However, seeing the level of care and attention they put into helping customers, the short wait was absolutely worth it. We will definitely be returning!

Me and my boyfriend decided to come and get some dessert and omg let me tell you everything was a 10/10. We had the mini pancakes with milk and white chocolate with strawberries, the Dubai chocolate sundae and Superman it was soooo delicious. I will definitely be back. Also the staff were so nice and welcoming!

The gelato was amazing—Aishta with pistachio, highly recommended. I just wish they had a smaller Aishta roll size to enjoy in the store.

Yousef K — not only were you super nice but my order was above and beyond!! They were out of some fruit for the fruit plate I ordered and they gifted me up with a crepe!! Customer for life!! And today is my birthday! 🎉 thank you ❤️ you guys made my night!

Customer service was really great. The place was so busy and everyone was trying their best to serve as many people and complete orders as fast as possible. Nora was at the register and she was a great help. The gelato itself was really good. The flavors were strong and I really enjoyed the fact that they did not taste overalls sweet. The menu has a lot of different options depending on your mood and the serving sizes are great. My only complaint was the tables had not been cleaned and where customers sit was dirty.
